| Compliance checks |
Items are checked for compliance to the Land Transport Authority requirements and also against illegal modifications. Where appropriate photographs of non-compliant items are taken for record. |
| Condition checks |
Checks on physical conditions are generally limited to visible items. However, wherever practicable, panels may be removed for closer examination. Specialised test equipment are used to assist in visual examination. |
| Function checks |
Vehicle devices are operated to check their proper function. Specialised and regularly calibrated test equipment are used to measure performance, wherever appropriate. |
| Road test |
The vehicle is first tested on our inspection test lane and then driven on the road for 8-10 km. Vehicle steering, braking, power transmission and driveability are evaluated during the road test. |
