Terms and Conditions – VICOM’s VSIR “Register and Win”
(5th February 2018
– 31st January 2019)
- The VICOM’s VSIR
“Register and Win” campaign (hereafter known as “Weekly Draw”) is open to
all VICOM/JIC paying customers who have utilized the vehicle inspection
services of VICOM Ltd during the validity period of the Weekly Draw.
- The Weekly
Draw will be held over 12 months, beginning 5th February 2018
and ending 31st January 2019.
- To participate
in the Weekly Lucky Draw, the participant must be a paying customer and
have been issued a receipt for payment for vehicle inspection service
undertaken at the respective inspection centre. Subject to the provisions set out in
Section A of Annex A,
each receipt entitles the customer to one (1) attempt at the “Spin The
Wheel” lucky draw.
- Winners will
be picked at random.
- Weekly Draw
prizes: $50 petrol vouchers.
There will be a total of 7 winners per week across 7 centres.
- Collection of
Weekly Draw prize vouchers will be at the cashiers of the respective
All winners will be required to present the SMS notification to the
cashier for proof of winning and will be required to sign an
acknowledgement slip for collection of vouchers. Winners are to provide
their NRIC for verification purposes upon collecting their prize(s).
- Weekly Draw
prizes will be issued in the form of vouchers to the winning customer who
presents the winning SMS (as detailed in Annex A). VICOM Ltd will not
entertain nor have any duty to resolve any complaints or disputes that may
arise from the conduct of the Weekly Draw or awarding of winners,
including but not limited to any dispute between customers and vehicle
owners with regards to the recipients of the prizes, for example, in a
situation where the customer is not the vehicle owner but instead bringing
in vehicle on behalf of the vehicle owner.

participant will be entitled to one entry for the Grand Draw only (tied to
the NRIC of the participant).
- In addition to
Point (1), customers can sign up for the lucky draw via the V-SIR portal
and will be eligible for the Grand Draw (only). Each person who signs up
on the website will be eligible for one entry (only) for the grand draw and
this will be determined by matching Customer’s First, Last Names and
Mobile No to ensure it’s a unique individual.
- Ten (10)
Finalists will be selected from eligible participants at random in the
presence of an external witness to attend the Grand Draw. The 10 Finalists
will be notified via mobile phone, for invitation to attend the Grand
Draw. These Finalists will be invited to attend the Grand Draw at a VICOM
Inspection Centre to be held before April 2019, where the Grand Draw
prizes will be drawn and awarded to the respective winners.
- Grand Draw
prizes are as follows.
Prize - $1,688 (cash)
Prize - $1,288 (cash)
Prize - $888 (cash)
Prize – $388 (cash)
– 10th Prizes – $288 (cash) each
- Collection of
Grand Draw prizes will be on the event date. Authorised
family members / spouse / friends, via an authorisation
letter, will be allowed to collect prizes on behalf of the Grand Draw
Prize winners should they be unavailable to attend/collect the prizes at
- Any unclaimed
prizes after 30th June
2019 will be forfeited and will be at the disposal of VICOM Ltd. VICOM
Ltd reserves the right to change/replace/amend the prizes to a prize of
equivalent value at any point during the Weekly Draw.
- VICOM Ltd will
not be responsible for any claims, losses, injury or damages of any kind
whatsoever that may arise from the conducting of the Program and/or the
consumption and use of prizes awarded to winners.
- VICOM Ltd is
not affiliated with any sponsors or their products and hence, will not be
liable for any changes, offerings, hidden costings and/or any clauses
upheld by participating merchants and vendors.
- Decisions made
by VICOM Ltd are final, conclusive and binding, and no appeal, enquiry
and/or correspondence will be entertained.
- VICOM Ltd
reserves the sole and absolute discretion to amend or supplement these
Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- By entering
into the Weekly Draw and/or Grand Draw ("Program"), you consent
to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by VICOM
and/or its business partners for marketing and related purposes, and agree
to receive VICOM inspection and insurance reminders and information on any
vehicle-related services, including special offers and/or joint promotions
VICOM may have from time to time, via mail/electronic mail/SMS/calls.
- The Weekly
Draw is open to all paying customers only who have sent in their vehicle
to VICOM for inspection.
- The Grand Draw
is only open to all customers in point (19) as well as all customers who
have signed up for the V-SIR program, aged 18 years and above. Staff of VICOM are not
eligible to participate in this Lucky Draw.

Complimentary 6-month Home Contents Insurance Terms and Conditions:
- When you
sign up for the Program, you will be eligible for a 6 months Complimentary
Home Contents coverage up to S$10,000 during the period of insurance,
subject to the terms and conditions of the policy (the “Complimentary
6-month Home Contents Insurance”).
- Pursuant to Section 25(5) of the Insurance Act Chapter 142, you are
to disclose in the fully and faithfully, all the facts you know or ought
to make known to HL Assurance. The information you have provided is
subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions stated in the insurance

- HL Assurance may contact you via voice call
(”Service Call”) to obtain the Address of the Property to be Insured.
However, your enrolment will be rejected without notification should you
fail to satisfy the criteria in point 3.

Assurance reserves the right to modify all the terms and conditions of
this policy, including benefits and exclusions within the period of
insurance by giving you prior notice of at least thirty (30) days, and
such modification shall be applicable from the effective date as stated in
our written notice to your address.
Assurance reserves the right to withdraw the Complimentary 6-month Home
Contents Insurance at any time by giving you one (1) month’s
terms and conditions may apply at the sole discretion of HL Assurance.
You agree to our Policy on Personal Data, that all
personal data provided to us will be subjected to such Policy, as may be varied
from time to time. Please refer to HL Assurance’s Personal Data Policy at www.hlas.com.sg for more information.
This is not a contract of insurance.
Full details of the terms, conditions and exceptions of this insurance are
provided in the Policy and will be sent to you upon acceptance of your
application by HL Assurance Pte Ltd.
Complimentary 6-month Home Contents
Insurance is underwritten and distributed by HL Assurance Pte
34. This Policy is protected under the Policy Owners' Protection
Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation
(SDIC). Coverage for your policy is automatic and no further action is required
from you. For more information on the types of benefits that are covered under
the scheme as well as the limits of coverage, where applicable, please contact
